| I take BART to and from work everyday. And everyday I fall asleep, leaving myself vulnerable to missing my stop or allowing someone to steal contents out of my bag (which they can't because i have my bag fully protected). However, I don't even worry about that as much as I worry if I'm snoring while I'm sleeping. It's not that big of a deal, but being so self conscious, I can't help but wonder if I was snoring and how embarrassing that is. This doesn't ever keep me from sleeping because I'm SOOOOOOO tired when I get off work. It's just extra stress i have when i wake up and feel like people might be looking at me because i was loudly snoring on the train. It's stupid, I know. BLAH! | | |
| Last night we celebrated 3 people's birthdays. Most of you Twitter folk know them as @ev, @bs, and @benfu, however, i call them Ev, Britt, and Ben. It was quite an elaborate plan. Basically, I set everything up, Jack distracts Britt and Ben, while Sara distracts Ev. I made reservations at District (a wine bar for those of you who have never been or heard). I then order 2 vegan ice cream cakes at Maggie Mudds (which were very good considering their lack of creamy goodness). The party began at 7 and multiple bottles of wine were consumed, including 2 bottles or maybe 3 bottles of champagne. We also had a few appetizers so that we had more than just an all liquid diet. Details are forbidden due to strict Twitter policies. However, I do want to point out that everyone but one person made it into the office the next day. Pics to come on Flickr soon!
I also wanted to comment that i did see Eric/Erick/Erik (however you spell his name) from Top Chef Chicago at District. If ya'll don't know who that is, it's the guy that lost last week because he made corn dogs that became soggy after transport. Yes, he's as tall as he looks on TV. No, I didn't talk to him.
Fun Stuff! | | |
| Recently, I realized that too many people have access to my IM screen names. I had to take it down from my profile on Xanga. No offense or anything but I don't like to feel obligated to talk to people that i don't know just because they are interested in Twitter. I've been getting so many more views on this page due to Twitter. I need some privacy and IMs are it. I'm almost on every social networking site there is already. I think people know my life story now. Not to say that i wouldn't want to talk to you but you can always ask me for it if you'd like. I'm always happy to make new friends! With that said HAVE A GREAT DAY!

| Despite the fact that more people will look at the Twitter blog than my blog, I thought i would just help out and spread the word that we're HIRING! Customer support is super important and is an integral part of Twitter. It's only a part time job rather than a full time but it's fun! Below is the job description:
Do you know a lot about how Twitter works? Like helping people? Got some spare time? Want to make some money?
We're
looking to add one or two people in the very important role of Twitter
support staff (part-time). It doesn't matter where you live—you can
work from home. You need:
- An enthusiasm for Twitter
- Great (and speedy) written English* skills
- At least 15 hours a week of focused availability
- To be a highly proficient user of the web, Twitter, and software in general (and a quick learner)
* We have a special position available if you can read and write Japanese, but that's not required.
The
job consists, basically, of answering emails from people who write in
who are having trouble with Twitter and helping them out as quickly as
possible.
Pay will be hourly. Inquire for more details.
Send your resume and Twitter username to twitter.supportjobs AT gmail.com.
Also you get to work with me... kinda =/

| In this case Xanga being old and Blogger being new. I've decided that i will have 2 blogs. One with xanga and one with Blogger. The one on Blogger.com will be private so if you anyone is dying to read my entries (sadly, i don't think that many people are) let me know so i can send you an invite to my new blog. I'll still be writing in xanga, but the good stuff will be private on Blogger.com. I hope ya'll want to read my stuff =)
Also, thanks to all of those that remembered and wished me a happy birthday no matter how late it might have been. I'm glad to have friends like you! You sure do know how to make a boy feel special! Off i go!
